Ringside medicine is a unique medical specialty. The roles and responsibilities of the ringside physician and ringside officials are complex and have evolved over the years into a multifaceted role in combat sports.
Thousands of boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA) matches take place yearly around the world. The ARC's goal is to work in partnership with State & Tribal Commissions, promoters, managers and other medical associations to review medical information, protect fighters, assess wellness and give opinions and recommendations on ringside safety.
We encourages ringside physicians and ringside officials from around the world to join the ARC and work with us as a panel member in order to promote health and safety in boxing and mixed martial arts.
